CAMPFIRE ESSENTIALS

/

We all know that camping just isn’t truly camping without a fire. Living in the PNW with wildfires and fire bans becoming more and more the norm, I’ve picked up a few additional items for my kit to keep those camp vibes rolling. Each item below has been purchased and put to regular use in my kit.

No sponsors here – I promise to only list items that I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again if ever lost, broken, or stolen.

This FireCan Propane pit is the perfect choice when camping with a fire ban where propane fires are still allowed. The adjustable regulator allows you to choose the flame size/output and is super simple to setup and use. The size and form factor of the can make it very easy to squeeze into your rig without taking up much space – keeping the hose and regulator self contained in the can itself.

This carry case is a brilliant solution for protecting the FireCan and minimizing rattles on those washboard roads. Though it is marketed and designed to transport/store portable power stations – it is a perfect fit for the FireCan and any additional accessories.

The perfect pairing for the FireCan is this 5lb refillable growler with soft case. Also comes with an adapter hose to connect to standard propane camping stoves to eliminate the need to carry numerous green 1-lb bottles. The price may feel a bit steep but i’ve found it cheaper to refill this tank than to purchase a 2pk of 1-lb bottles.
